It was beat out by Pohang University of Science and Technology (1st - Pohang, South Korea), École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (2nd - Lausanne, Switzerland), and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (3rd - Hong Kong).
With that said, the University of California, Irvine is ranked first in the United States. I’ve never been so proud to be an anteater. Zot! Zot! Zot!
